Lorch Scores First For Wydad
Thembinkosi Lorch netted his first goal for Wydad Athletic Club, while Rulani Mokwena’s team completed their fourth consecutive league match with a draw.
Lorch scored the first goal after 31 minutes, finding the net from a short distance. Nonetheless, the guests leveled the score late in the match, as Haytham El Bahja scored to make it 1-1.
It was Wydad’s fourth consecutive draw, and the Moroccan giants remained in fourth position in the Botola Pro standings.
Mokwena's squad holds 43 points, only two behind second-placed AS FAR, and FUS Rabat also has 43.
At the same time, RS Berkane clinched their first Botola Pro championship with five matches remaining. The Orange Boys hold 60 points after 25 matches and remain uncatchable with five matches left.
