Pirates Midfielder Seeks For Playing Time Elsewhere
Karim Kimvuidi's tenure at Orlando Pirates has been a subject of intrigue, marked by flashes of brilliance and periods of limited playing time. This situation has fueled speculation about his future, particularly with recent rumors linking him to a potential move to Chippa United.
The Orlando Pirates Conundrum
Kimvuidi arrived at Orlando Pirates with a reputation for technical prowess, possessing dribbling skills and a creative passing range. However, securing a consistent starting position within the Buccaneers' highly competitive squad has proven challenging.
Chippa United's Reported Interest
The rumors of Chippa United's interest in Kimvuidi have added another layer to his narrative.
Seeking Playing Time
It is speculated that Kimvuidi may be seeking a club where he can secure more consistent playing time to further his development.
Chippa United, like many PSL teams, are always looking to improve their squad, and a player of Kimvuidi's talent, would be a great addition.
Opportunity for Development:
A move to Chippa United could provide Kimvuidi with a platform to showcase his abilities and gain valuable experience.
The Orlando Pirates coach emphasised the need for the ex-Maritzburg United midfielder to be a complete player.
“We have an excellent group. What you see, everyone can see. These types of players like Karim [Kimvuidi], fans want to see him.
“But we want to help him to be more complete as a football player. Nowadays in football, they need to be competitive in every aspect. It’s not enough with three or four aspects.
“You will need to be more consistent in every aspect and not be too good or so good in two or three aspects. With players like him, we are trying to [make] him complete because he has all the conditions to be an exceptional player, more frequent and consistent.
“It’s going to happen, it’s a question of time. I’m 100% sure, it will happen. As a human being, Karim is a lovely guy and is always trying to do his best. He is always trying to integrate himself in a group that has talented players as well,” Riveiro said.
Kimvuidi joined the Soweto giants this season as they prepared for the CAF Champions League where they failed. The 21-year-old was a marvel at Maritzburg last season, particularly with his dribbling skills and creativity
