Kaizer Chiefs are strongly anticipated to reveal a minimum of one central midfielder prior to the commencement of the 2025/26 season.
Reviewing the stories from the previous week, Amakhosi continues to be associated with Feisal Salum of Azam FC in Tanzania, along with Luke Le Roux, who competes in Sweden for IFK Värnamo.

As reported by the Citizen, Amakhosi have initiated talks with Azam to acquire the 27-year-old midfield talent.
"Initial discussions between Chiefs and Azam have commenced, but as you're aware, there will be rejections all around until an offer is made," a source informed the outlet.
“However, I can confirm that discussions have actually begun,” the source mentioned. "Football is a business; Azam can claim they aren't prepared to sell, but they understand that selling will be necessary if the player declines to extend his contract." “They won't be willing to risk losing him without compensation,” he concluded.

As reported by Soccer Laduma, Amakhosi are closely pursuing the 24-year-old talent who currently plays for Värnamo in Sweden.
Kaizer Chiefs are confident they have a strong opportunity to acquire Le Roux since he is not currently highly sought after in the Betway Premiership.
“A source informed the outlet that the club's recruitment strategy involves attempting to sign as many players as they can who are not sought after by their local competitors; often, when they are vying with other regional teams, they end up not acquiring those players.”
“That is the reason they have brought back the pu of Luke Le Roux.” He is from South Africa but is currently playing in Europe as they think they have a greater opportunity to recruit him,” the source mentioned.
Coach Nabi states that Betway Premiership teams have been hesitant to transfer players to the Glamour Boys. The club's updated transfer plan is to focus on acquiring players from overseas.
The most recent case was Thabo Cele, who switched to the club in January after departing from his Russian team FC Fakel Voronezh.
"We understand the competition; acquiring players from other clubs in South Africa is challenging for us, so we must adjust our approach, and we have a new strategy in place for that," the Kaizer Chiefs coach stated through iDiski Times.
"I shouldn't be the one discussing it with you, but the club has a new strategy that we are currently developing." Following this period, we may explore other options abroad for additional players.
“However, it’s not about the names; I’m not looking for big names but rather the type of player who suits my system, not just a name.” And we will travel beyond South Africa if necessary.
"However, I don’t desire a large number of players; instead, I seek the quality players that align with my game model," the Kaizer Chiefs coach concluded.
